Speaking at the event on Thursday, August 8, Ogyeahoho Yaw Gyebi II underscored the importance of the state-of-the-art refinery, which can process up to 400 kilograms of gold daily. The President of the National House of Chiefs commended the government’s dedication to establishing the refinery and urged Ghanaians to embrace this achievement with enthusiasm and a shared commitment to success.

He further encouraged citizens to work together to ensure that the Royal Ghana Gold Refinery becomes a symbol of excellence. Ogyeahoho Yaw Gyebi II emphasized that this project is a powerful testament to Ghana’s capability to refine and manage its resources effectively.

This facility symbolizes our determination to control our destiny by refining our precious natural resources right here in Ghana.”
